Naranj
One of the best restaurants in Marrakech does not serve tajine, but Lebanese food. Owner Ruba was born in Germany but has Lebanese roots. With her Syrian husband they had an Italian restaurant in Vienna for years, but the adventure was enticing. The globe trotters settled in the metropolis of Marrakech. They quickly abandon their first idea of another Italian restaurant, and Ruba decides to choose purely Lebanese. Not a bad choice, because the restaurant Naranj is quickly a hit. We love it because Naranj means “Orange” as well! What’s in a name :-)
Here you can savor the delicious mezze (appetizers) and take a refreshing home-made Ice Tea with your main course. During the day it is fairly quiet but in the evening you should definitely make a reservation!
