Visit to an argan distillery

We depart from Marrakech at 8.00 am sharp. During the three-hour drive through the varied landscape, we’ll make a special stop at a traditional argan oil distillery. Here, you’ll discover how the precious argan oil – an essential beauty secret of Berber women for centuries – is produced using traditional methods. A fascinating insight into a tradition that has only recently conquered the global markets.

Once you arrive in Essaouira, the choice is yours. You can relax on the vast sandy beaches, where the wind creates ideal conditions for windsurfing, or enjoy a stroll along the azure-blue ocean. For the more adventurous among us, a camel ride along the beach is an unforgettable experience.

Afterwards, stroll through the lively fishing harbour where colourful boats come and go, and lose yourself in the atmospheric medina.

Shopping for unique souvenirs is an experience in itself here; from beautiful wood carvings to handmade textiles. And of course, the delicious food is not to be missed. Sample the fresh catch of the day at one of the many local fish restaurants along the promenade.

By 8 pm you’ll be back in Marrakech, full of memories from a day you won’t soon forget. Accompanied by our experienced, English-speaking driver, you’ll enjoy a carefree and comfortable journey.
