Oriental restaurant le Tanjia specializes in Moroccan cuisine and in particular in the classic dish “tanjia”. This stew was traditionally prepared by men. The meat was put in a Tanjia (earthenware pot) with herbs and spices and taken to the hammam. There the pot was slowly stewed on the wood that was used to heat the hammam, while the man took his weekly bath. Whether they still bring it to the hammam these days is the secret of the chef. Belly dancers provide a festive atmosphere in a beautiful setting.
