Majorelle Gardens
The Majorelle Gardens are among the most famous attractions in Marrakech. This botanical garden was created in the 1920s by the French painter Jacques Majorelle and is now renowned for its exotic plants, fountains and the iconic Majorelle blue that features throughout the garden. The garden was later restored by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé.
The garden is an oasis of tranquillity featuring over 300 plant species from around the world, winding paths, cactus gardens and small ponds. In addition to the garden, you can also visit the Berber Museum and the nearby Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
Opening hours
The garden is open daily from approximately 08:30 to 18:30.
